Web
Web design and development are my passion these days. Look for this section to expand in the near future, as my life is currently consumed by aspirations to front-end web ninja-hood.
Design
To me, "design" as applied to web sites is not just about looking pretty, but also about creating elegant, intuitive layouts that make for an easy and pleasant user experience. This section will also include print designs that I have done.
Code
This section contains examples of code I've written in various languages, including but not limited to web-related code. I've been writing code since the days of BASIC on the Apple IIe. In college one of the valuable lessons I learned that I still keep with me is "work smarter, not harder." To that end, I've often taught myself the scripting languages of an application to automate tasks and increase my efficiency. I love designing elegant systems that make life easier.
3D
In school I studied "Computer Arts", with a concentration in real-time 3D modeling and animation. I worked for several years in the games industry, mostly for a company called Coccinella Development, specializing in educational games, using the Torque Game Engine.
